The twelve labours of Hercules – well, almost!

Following on from the success of last year’s event, W M Donald is again entered two teams for the Anchor Wipeout day on Saturday 22nd August.

In Greek mythology, Hercules had twelve labours, and the teams at Wipeout will similarly have twelve relay-based challenges to complete.

The emphasis is on teamwork, co-ordination and not coming last! If you would like to take part please give Karen a call or email her on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

ANCHOR stands for ‘Aberdeen and North Centre for Haematology, Oncology and Radiotherapy’, a specialist unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary which treats patients with cancers, leukaemia, and benign blood disorders. Monies raised at Wipeout will be used to fund patient wellbeing, additional equipment and research projects at the University of Aberdeen.
